‘Calais Solidarity’ is the common theme of several pages which have sprung up on Facebook.

These pages are attracting newcomers at an amazing rate. They are also attracting comments in great number. This combination makes it hard to find the information needed.

The purpose of this blog (for the moment, but everything is extremely fluid) is to show:

• Facebook page information in a manner which is easier to access
• Google map showing collection points etc
• Links to related organisations
• Information about existing refugee organisations in the UK
